Department of the Interior Branding Guidelines
I created the first-ever branding guidelines for the Department of the Interior, which included proper Interior seal usage, color palette, fonts, and visual style. I was the first graphic designer to work in Interior's Office of the Secretary and determined what the look and feel of the department should be by researching its rich visual history. In the 1930s, when Interior's DC headquarters were being built, the Modernist design movement was in full swing, emphasizing natural textures, earthy colors, and clean lines, which I felt would perfectly reflect the range of Interior's work.
